Getting my head wrapped around audio

I’m pushing like hell to get the next in the series out before the end of the year. For quite a few writers I know, the measly twenty thousand words I need could be knocked off in a week; unfortunately, that’s not me – yet. I hope to get to that point someday but there’s still too much other stuff rattling around in my head to accomplish those kinds of numbers.

So I’m probably going to have to push audio production back to next year, but I am seriously looking at getting it done. I was surprised at how many narrators there are with more than a passing knowledge of Thai, which you’d need, if you’re going to be able to genuinely sound like, Chance. If he sounded like most farang who speak Thai it would ruin the credibility of the books, and I’d like to get one narrator to do them all.

What do you guys think? Are audiobooks a thing for you?
